 SLE Weekly 4.2

Good Chi has fallen

The SLE community was left reeling after the reigning champions, Good Chi Gaming, were handed a stunning defeat at the hands of the underdogs, Snek Pack || Sanctuary. Midlaner Sushiekiller was the hero for the Snek Pack, scoring a Pentakill and leading his team to a remarkable victory, leaving Good Chi Gaming's unbeaten record in tatters. This was a regular season clash in Division 1, and Good Chi Gaming had been unbeaten until this point.

The match was a historic one, as the Snek Pack had lost every single time they faced off against Good Chi Gaming in tournaments in the past. Fans were left stunned as the Snek Pack celebrated a result that few had predicted. The win sees the Snek Pack move up to second place in the division, while Good Chi Gaming will be left to pick up the pieces after their first defeat of the season which broke their 9 Game Winning Streak back from Split 3 .

In the aftermath of the defeat, Sovonix, the star player for Good Chi Gaming, had a few things to say in an interview. "Without our autofilled support, who I wanna tell 'Jerry you absolutely ran it you bozo,' we would have probably won," he lamented. "Our ADC has a lot to learn about his role, often times he loses hard and he can't reach his high carry potential while losing early."

He proclaims the SLE is known for it's recency bias and said that he had only shown "40% of my capacity'' and made an analogy drawing similarities between Lionel Messi and Good Chi Gaming "If Lionel Messi missed a penalty with a broken leg, he wouldn't be called washed up."

Finally, Sovonix expressed his sadness at the absence of his former teammate, Savage, whom he had won the SLE twice with. The defeat was a bitter pill to swallow for Good Chi Gaming, but the Snek Pack proved that anything is possible in this league, and fans will be eagerly waiting to see what surprises await them in the future.

Wacky Wraiths Midlaner Usejin: ''Lina can't play''

The drama continues to unfold for the Wacky Wraiths as their new Midlaner Usejin has taken some shots at his predecessor Lina. In a recent interview, Usejin boldly claimed that Lina can't even play simple champs like Corki and that he will outclass her without any problems.

It's no secret that the Wacky Wraiths made a controversial decision in replacing Lina and Spoeka, but it seems like they had their reasons. According to Usejin, the one game that Lina and Spoeka dropped was too much for the Wacky Wraiths organization to accept. So, they were sent down to the B-Team "Wacky Wraiths X".

The Wacky Wraiths have been struggling since the roster shake-up, and their future looks bleak. With Usejin insulting his own team and their former star players, it's hard to see how they will bounce back from this. Fans are speculating that they could even be knocked out before the playoffs if they continue to perform like this.

It's clear that the Wacky Wraiths are in turmoil. While Usejin may be confident in his abilities, it remains to be seen whether he can lead the team to success. For now, it seems like the Wacky Wraiths are on a downward spiral, and it's hard to see a way out for them.

Dolly5 undefeated no more!!!

In a Monday night showdown, the undefeated Dolly5 finally met their match against the struggling team Vitagen. With the final score ending in a 1-1 tie, it seems like the unbeatable team is no longer so untouchable.

After the game, Vitagen's Botlaner Jomiie, who had an exceptional performance, made a few statements. "Even though we are struggling hard, I still believe in a top 3 miracle finish," he said. However, it's hard to say if their recent tie against the top team is enough to prove that they can come out on top.

"We first hoped to be undefeated ourselves, which was crushed by a dominant Good Chi," Vitagen's Botlaner added. "We have many weaknesses to improve." Will they be able to address those weaknesses and make a comeback, or is it already too late for them?

Despite their lofty goals, it remains to be seen if Vitagen is truly the top team they see in themselves. As the saying goes, "in the end, the man screaming the loudest about what he can do is the one falling on the ground the hardest."

CCG Theta Draconis disbands

In a surprising move, Team CCG Theta Draconis has left the Summoner's Rift, withdrawing from all competitions and dissolving its roster. The departure of the team, which had been part of the SLE since last Split, has sparked speculation among fans and analysts about the reasons behind the decision and the implications for the wider league.

One of the main questions raised by the disbandment is whether Ex-MVP-ADC Kaliber, who had been the captain and star player of Theta Draconis, was responsible for the downfall of the team or if he was simply unable to prevent it. Some insiders have suggested that internal conflicts and disagreements over strategy and leadership

had weakened the cohesion and morale of the squad, leading to poor performances and ultimately the decision to disband.

Others have pointed out that Theta Draconis had been struggling for some time, despite their past successes, and that the departure of key players such as Jomiie earlier in the season had left the team with a weaker roster and less depth. The recent losses to lower-ranked teams and the failure to qualify for the Division 1 may have been the final straw for the organisation, which decided to cut its losses and focus on other projects.

The departure of Theta Draconis leaves Curtain Call Gaming with only one active team, CCG Muffins, which is currently in a precarious position in the standings and fighting to avoid being knocked out in the divisional round. While CCG has had a strong presence in the SLE and other esports leagues, the loss of one of its flagship teams is a setback that may require some rethinking and restructuring.

On the positive side, the disbandment of Theta Draconis may create opportunities for other teams and players to rise to the top and challenge the established order in the SLE. With the playoffs approaching and the race for the championship heating up, the league is sure to provide more surprises and drama for its fans and followers.

Rengo's SLE Script Leaked

In a shocking revelation, the SLE community has been hit by yet another scandal involving the notorious Admin Rengo. It has been reported that Rengo created a script that determines the outcome of the SLE matches, and the script has been leaked, exposing widespread corruption and match fixing.

The leaked information includes predictions of another miracle run by Black Manta, a disastrous 0-18 record for the struggling team Runtime, and a predicted third title for the back-to-back champion Good Chi. It seems that Rengo has been manipulating the league for his own benefit, casting a dark cloud over the SLE community.

Many fans and players are wondering if the league will be able to recover from this scandal. The SLE Staff, more precisely Mikus and Linus, have already distanced themselves from Rengo and his recent crimes. The SLE has always been a fair and competitive league, but this new scandal threatens to undermine its integrity and reputation.

It remains to be seen how the SLE community will respond to this latest development. Will they allow Rengo to continue to run the league, or will they take action to remove him from his position of power? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain: the SLE will never be the same again.

Trauma Factory is dead

Trauma Factory has announced that they will disband, leaving their fans and the entire SLE community in disbelief. The team had shown great promise and had been performing well in the upper half of Division 2, but something went wrong, and the team's self-motivation suffered.

Trauma Factory's leader, Cat, said in a statement, "We are ashamed of what we have become, and we feel that we have let our fans down. We were not able to find the right players to complete our roster, and we were not able to motivate ourselves enough to perform at the level we know we are capable of."

The community has been quick to question the team's lack of motivation and their inability to find players to fill their roster. Many are wondering what went wrong and why the team couldn't pull themselves together to continue their promising run.

It remains to be seen what will happen to the players of Trauma Factory, as they will now need to find new teams or possibly retire from the SLE scene altogether. The disbanding of the team is a stark reminder of the challenges and pressures that come with professional gaming and the importance of having a strong team dynamic and motivation to succeed.

Division 2 Highlight Cancled

In a disappointing turn of events, the highly anticipated Division 2 match between Hublibubs and Black Manta || Sanctuary was cancelled due to technical difficulties on the side of Riot Games. According to sources, the servers were not functioning properly, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, Riot was unable to provide a stable playing environment for the teams.

This cancellation comes as a blow to both teams, who were eager to test their mettle against each other and climb higher in the standings. The Hublibubs currently hold the top spot in Division 2 with a perfect record of 4-0, while Black Manta || Sanctuary sit in second place with a 2-0 record. A win for either team would have been a significant boost in their quest for a playoff spot.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time technical issues have affected competitive play in the league, and it serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by organizers and players alike in the rapidly growing esports industry. While it's disappointing for fans and players alike, it's important to recognize the efforts of Riot Games and the tournament organizers in ensuring a fair and competitive playing environment for all teams involved.

As of now, it is unclear when the match will be rescheduled, but both teams will be eagerly awaiting a new date and the opportunity to face off on the Rift.

Player's Top 5 - Cupcake

As the SLE season heats up, the competition between the teams becomes more intense. Everyone is eager to know who the front-runners are and who might take the trophy home. In a recent interview, Cupcakes, the talented Botlaner of Snek Pack || Sanctuary, shared his top 5 favorite teams to win the SLE.

First on his list was Snek Pack itself. According to Cupcakes, they are the best team in the league and have what it takes to win it all. While some may call this arrogance, Cupcakes believes in his team and their potential to take down any opponent.

Coming in second is Vitagen. Cupcakes believes that they look strong, but they were smashed by the back-to-back champions, Good Chi Gaming, in a previous match. However, he thinks they can still make a comeback and compete for the top spot.

Speaking of Good Chi, they are ranked third on Cupcakes' list. As the reigning champions, they have already proven their skills and are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Cupcakes respects their talent and experience, but he thinks they may not be as dominant as before.

Fourth on the list is the Wacky Wraiths, and this one might surprise some fans. Cupcakes believes that Lina, their Midlaner, plays really well, but he may not be aware that she was kicked out of the team after a poor performance. It remains to be seen if the Wacky Wraiths will still be a top contender without her.

Last but not least is Dolly5, who was undefeated before their match against Vitagen. Cupcakes thinks they have potential, but he is not sure if they can keep up with the other teams in the long run.

Match of the Week 4

The highly anticipated match between Snek Pack || Sanctuary and Dolly5 is set to take place this week, and it promises to be a thrilling encounter. The two teams faced off in the play-ins earlier in the tournament, where Dolly5 emerged victorious with a 1-0 win. However, the stakes are even higher now as the teams battle it out in the Division 1 standings.

Dolly5 currently holds a 2-point lead over Snek Pack in the standings, and a win would allow them to widen the gap and cement their position in the top half of the table. On the other hand, a victory for Snek Pack would see them level on points with Dolly5 and give them a chance to climb up the rankings.

One of the key matchups to watch out for is in the midlane, where Snek Pack's Sushikiller and Dolly5's D Wowza will face off. Both players have been performing exceptionally well in the tournament so far and have made a name for themselves with their impressive skills and strategic gameplay.

The match promises to be an exciting one, with both teams hungry for the win and determined to make their mark in the Division 1 standings. Fans can expect to see intense gameplay, thrilling team fights, and some impressive individual performances from the players.

As the teams gear up for the big match, the pressure is on to deliver their best performance yet. With so much at stake, it's sure to be a hard-fought battle, and only time will tell which team will emerge victorious in this week's match of the week.
