SLE Weekly 4.6
Runtime dropped out!!
It is a sad day for the fans of Runtime as the team has surrendered their remaining 3 matches. The once mighty team has fallen apart and is unable to continue in the SLE. This news has left many fans wondering about the future of the team and what will happen to their players.
There are many possible futures for the team. One option is that they disband entirely and their players go their separate ways. Another option is that the team's management decides to rebuild the roster from scratch, bringing in new talent to try and turn things around.
It's clear that something needs to change for Runtime to return to their former glory. Whether that means a complete overhaul of the team or just a few strategic changes, it remains to be seen.
Whatever the future holds for Runtime, we wish them the best of luck. Their fans will always remember the team's past successes and the exciting matches they played in the SLE. It is unfortunate that they were unable to continue this season, but we hope to see them return to the league in the future, stronger and more determined than ever.
Kakapo threw their title chances
Kakapo-Addax entered their match against Primordials with high hopes of securing a crucial win that would keep their title aspirations alive. However, they failed to capitalize on their opportunity and only managed a 1-1 draw against a resolute Primordials side. This result puts Kakapo-Addax in a precarious position, with their chances of finishing in the top two significantly diminished.
Despite the setback, Kakapo-Addax can take heart from the fact that they, mathimatically, still have a chance at the title. However, they will need to win their remaining games and hope that Snek Pack and Dolly5 drop points along the way.
On the other hand, Primordials can celebrate a well-deserved spot in the playoffs after their impressive draw against Kakapo-Addax. The former Division 2 champions have been in fine form this season, and their success is a testament to their hard work and dedication. With their playoff spot secured, Primordials are looking to finish in the upper bracket, which would give them a significant advantage in the playoffs.
The league is reaching its final stages, and every game matters. Kakapo-Addax will need to regroup quickly and come up with a winning strategy if they hope to get far in play-offs. Meanwhile, Primordials will be looking to build on their impressive form and cause more upsets as they make a push for the top spot in the league.
Bärs & Burgare eliminated
The SLE has seen some shocking results this split, and the latest is the elimination of Bärs & Burgare after being beaten by Vitagen. The Swedish team, who were struggling this season, tried to turn things around by bringing in a new star-toplaner, Zench. However, their efforts were in vain, and they were unable to secure a spot in the playoffs.
Many fans are wondering what led to the failure of the once-promising Bärs & Burgare team, which boasts a talented roster with star ADC LMR. Some speculate that the team's lack of synergy and communication on the rift played a major role in their disappointing performance this season.
Others point to the team's inconsistent performance, with some players shining in one game and struggling in the next. This lack of consistency made it difficult for the team to gain momentum and build on their successes.
Despite their struggles, fans remain hopeful that Bärs & Burgare will bounce back stronger next split. With the right adjustments and a renewed focus on teamwork and communication, the team could once again become a serious contender in the SLE.
As the SLE playoffs loom near, Flay2Day, a renowned analyst and player of the league, has given his top 5 teams for the title race. While some may agree or disagree with his picks, it's hard to deny that these teams have shown impressive performances in the league thus far.
Topping Flay2Day's list is Snek Pack, a team that he believes to be a well-rounded and cohesive unit. In their games, Snek Pack has demonstrated excellent early game prowess, and their teamfighting skills are communicated and executed more effectively than other teams in the league.
Following closely behind is Kakapo Addax, a team that strikes fear in their opponents with their dominating jungler and aggressive bot lane duo. Flay2Day also notes the versatility of their midlaner's champion pool, making them a dangerous force to be reckoned with.
In third place, we have Dolly5, a team that boasts a mid-jungle duo that punishes their opponents with aggressive picks. Dolly5's strategy of focusing on their weakside bot has paid dividends in the league, but Flay2Day wonders if they have the mental fortitude to handle longer series.
In fourth place, we have CCG Muffin, a team that has tied with every big team above them in a best-of-two series. While their underdog status makes them a solid contender, Flay2Day highlights their aggressive and powerful bot lane duo as a key strength.
Last but not least, we have Black Manta, a team that has shown impressive coordination and growth from last split. However, Flay2Day questions if they can overcome the "div2 in playoffs" curse that has plagued some teams in the past.
Flay2Day's list is intriguing, particularly his emphasis on the importance of the jungle role and bot lane duo in his rankings. With the SLE playoffs fast approaching, these teams will have to bring their A-game to take home the title. Fans of the league will certainly be eagerly watching to see if Flay2Day's predictions come true.
Linus Hot Take of the Week ''Wacky Wraiths are done and dusted''
Controversial hot take of the week: Wacky Wraiths are doomed and won't win a single game in Split 4 of the SLE, according to Linus. The bold prediction has sparked a firestorm of debate among fans and analysts alike, with some agreeing and others vehemently disagreeing with the notion.
Linus cites several reasons for his opinion, most notably the poor performance of Usejin, the team's new midlaner. He claims that Usejin's age is catching up to him, and he has been underperforming in recent games, with a KD-ratio of 5/37, the worst in the entire league. According to Linus, Lina has been much more consistent, especially when playing safely.
Another reason for Wacky Wraiths' supposed downfall is the inconsistency of Robbery. Linus claims that Robbery tends to fall off against every opponent when it comes to game 2, indicating a lack of focus and mental toughness.
Wacky Wraiths' lack of a top star is another factor, as Spoeka's benching has left a void in the team. Although Nirlien is playing well, he's not capable of winning games on his own, according to Linus.
Finally, Linus argues that the team looks disconnected and lacks a leader to take charge and guide them to victory. It's a damning assessment of Wacky Wraiths, who many had touted as a dark horse for the title.
Only time will tell if Linus' prediction will come true, but for now, Wacky Wraiths will need to step up their game and prove the doubters wrong if they hope to salvage their season.
Match of the Week 7
The SLE match of week 8 is set to be a thrilling showdown between Good Chi Gaming and dolly5. Good Chi may be the reigning champions, but they've been struggling to find their footing this season. Meanwhile, dolly5 have emerged as the current top team in the league, thanks to their impressive performance so far.
The most anticipated matchup of the game will undoubtedly be in the midlane, where two of the SLE's biggest stars will clash. Sovonix, widely considered the Greatest of All Time in the SLE, will represent Good Chi. Meanwhile, D Wowza, the Team Leader and Star-Newcomer of dolly5, will be looking to cement his own status as a top midlaner in the league.
Sovonix has had some difficulties carrying his team in earlier series against top teams like Snek-Pack and Kakapo-Addax, but he's stepped up his game in recent matches. He's been performing at the highest level the SLE has ever seen. However, he'll have his work cut out for him against D Wowza, who has consistently proven himself as a force to be reckoned with.
According to some of D Wowza's friends, he sees this matchup as a personal challenge, and is determined to show that he's the best midlaner in the league. With so much at stake, it's sure to be an intense and thrilling battle between these two giants of the SLE.
The exact date for the match has not been announced yet, but fans of both teams are eagerly awaiting the announcement. Will Good Chi be able to turn their season around and take down the current top team in the league? Or will dolly5 continue their impressive run and emerge victorious? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure - this is a match that no SLE fan will want to miss.
